Brady's Irish Bar — Restaurant in Lagoa

Halloween night was fast approaching, Brady's pub I did go. I brought with me some companions for a night of drinking and smoking! I made my presence known at the bar, and was aggressively greeted by an almighty scowl from across the room. I proceeded to indulge in my first beverage of the night. I rested my limb on the bar and requested a large cockburns on the rocks. This was not possible at this moment in time for unknown reasons so I settled for a Bacardi and coke. A man wearing a cape approached me, I believe he was dressed as Dracula but it was hard to say. We’ve been visiting Brady’s for years and have always loved it, from the look to the very efficient and friendly way it was run - it was amazing and we were sorry to hear it was changing hands. However, we were up for giving it a go this year but to we found the heart and soul ripped out of the place, it’s now very modern and clean interior but lacking any kind of character. I’d leave 5 stars for the band that have played there for years though and continue to belt out some crackers - ...

We were the first customers of the year. The owner (Corrine) gave us a free Guinness for being the first customers. We did however pay for the second one because I wanted to also be the first paying customer. We had a wonderful conversation with Corrine and will probably go back later this evening for the live music. Couldn’t give them a higher review. Thank you Corrine and Victor....
