All sushi and sashimi were great, fresh and delicious. They were cut small but, given that you can order as many as you want (6 at a time), who cares? Service was quite good and fast enough. There were people waiting to be seated at 1PM on a Monday. There are two sets of tables outside, each accommodating up to four people. During the pandemic, they limit the tables to one set of people (great), each. They also did a good takeout business. We sat outside (having called and reserved an outside table) and ordered from the dinner menu (€2 more). The only issue was that the hot items were generally lukewarm (lost 1 star - Edit: we have now been here 8 times and there was only once that the hot food wasn't hot - gave back the star). The tiny egg rolls were mostly rolls and dough - I would not order them again. The seaweed plate was large and pleasantly sweet - tasty (to me). Note that they don't serve tap water. We plan to go back for my wife's BD in a week. You can order a few chicken, beef, pork and duck dishes from the dinner menu so it should be good enough for non-seafood eaters, too. The beef sticks were OK, but I'll order the duck next time. Two Thumbs up. After 8 times, we plan to keep coming back at least twice a month. 20201/01/04 Update: We have now found out that we can get All of My Sushi's great Sushi/Sashimi/Tempura/etc delivered to its sister restaurant, My Food Chinese buffet, just up the road, so we have started to take advantage of it! My Food has more outside tables. Since we always paid for the dinner buffet at My Sushi, the cost to us is the same, and we get the advantage of not having to call ahead to reserve a seat, shorter walk, and access to the full Chinese buffet, too. We still order the same Sushi/Sashimi that we ordered at My Sushi, as well as the Tempura. Delivery takes ~15-20 minutes. In addition, we order the garlic shrimp, etc off the Chinese buffet for near immediate delivery. We get the best of both worlds and the same owners. Great Service and food at...
Read moreWe went in with a bit higher expectations based on the reviews and were quite disappointed.
The only upside of our experience was that the sea bass, tuna and octopus sashimi was very fresh and good, and it was all you can eat but that was about it. Unfortunately they do not use Japanese or sushi rice for any of the items, which means the texture and taste for any of the sushi items with rice isn't right.
Some of the meat items are good with very juicy and tender meats but others are lean and tough so its a mixed bag.
The service is the biggest issue, the order system requires you to write down the item numbers you want on a paper, after punching it in the servers stick the order paper on a board and check off the items as they serve them, but there's no order to it, the servers take the item and check all the order papers which are tacked on randomly, then cross it off and serves it to that table but that means they serve it to paper they see first. We had many orders go missing or served to other tables first who ordered it later. So we ended up waiting a long time for our food or having to reorder multiple times to even get something once.
Also, there doesn't seem to be a time limit but we noticed the more sashimi we ordered the smaller the pieces got. The price is mostly okay and if you're patient you can get your moneys worth but their system for tracking and serving orders makes it kind of tough to enjoy and this restaurant doesn't meet the hype from...
Read moreWe visited this place with my friend on the 27th of August. I liked our sushi, but I would not come back. Prices are fair for all you can eat. The ingredients did not taste too fresh, but I guess, for the price, you can expect that. However, the service was terrible. We got interrupted by different waiters several times, who just rushed us in quite rude way out of the restaurant because as they said, they were closing. I understand that closing hour shall be respected, but you can’t just come to the guest, and tell them to “quickly” eat the last piece of sushi, so you can take their plate, while other guests are still peacefully eating outside with a lot of food to finish. He even lacked the manners to even wait till we finish the sentences spoken in between us. He abruptly jumped into our conversation, not apologizing, nothing. Zero manners. I was shocked by the audacity and rudeness in which the waiters talked to us. They were talking down to us as if we were kids. I sense, it could be because we were two young females (?), so no respect whatsoever. They were literally rushing us out, and making it clear several times, that we have to leave, even though as I said before, around 10 people were still sitting and enjoying their meal on the terrace. They were still peacefully eating, with their plates full, even at the time when we were already leaving the restaurant…I will not be back, and will not be...
