Pastelaria Pao Doce — Restaurant in Lagos

I went there cuz it was one of the few pastry shops opened on Sunday but the lady working at the counter rudely told me they were closed even if I got there five minutes before closing time. But well it’s ok because I went there to try typical pastries from Lagos such as dom rodrigos and they didn’t have them. It’s like going to Naples and not finding pizza. It’s just a secluded pastry shop that tries to look chic and fancy but ends up being cold and soulles. Talvez o seu pão seja doce mas o seu coração...

Nice cozy little cafe on the corner, located across the street from a playground. They offer a selection of Portuguese pastry and a very nice coffee. I have visited this cafe many times over many years and by far one of the best places to get a healthy great snack in Lagos. The staff are always a pleasure and very helpful. The food is always fantastic particularly fond of the toasties and the salads. The coffee and the juices are fantastic....
