If you care about hygiene and efficiency, then this is not the place for you...

After ordering, we waited by the bar by their open kitchen. We got to see plenty as we waited for our two bagels for at least 40 minutes (we lost track of time)...

Here are some stand-out observations:

The cured salmon stood open air (in the warm kitchen) in a plastic box during our entire waiting time, and sometimes without a lid even when it was not being used. There was no lid in sight for the peanut butter jar either. The person preparing the bagels, interchangeably went from handling salmon, bacon, to vegetables without washing their hands in between.

The cashier handled cash and, without sanitising or washing their hands, touched the bagels and then went to chopping the red onions (which I'm going to assume was for later that day when they convert to a burger place). The third person was also chopping onions and doing some other prep as the queue grew longer and longer...

The bagels were ok, but we wish we could have cancelled our order after seeing what we saw.

I think it would be time well spent to rethink their food hygiene and how they...

We stopped by this tiny place for lunch that we enjoyed at their only outside table on their wee porch.

A little seating was available inside, but most people were picking up takeout.

I ordered the Veggie Breakkie on a whole grain freshly made bagel. He had the French Twist, which had two thick slices of turkey with a very tasty cranberry sauce and brie on a cinnamon raisin bagel.

We enjoyed both sandwiches. Fantastic bagels and very substantial sandwiches.

Friendly service at this cute place that changes to a burger place at night.

We returned a second time in the same week and ordered each other's sandwiches with an addition.

I had the French Twist with the addition of fresh arugula, which made the sandwich perfect! He had the Veggie Breakkie with the addition of cheddar cheese. We both had them on whole grain bagels and enjoyed them in the sun on a nearby square.

We loved them as much the second time as our first visit. We both highly recommend this place and...

Came here at our friend’s suggestion and because we missed our traditional Montréal morning bagels while in Portugal. The wait was over 10 mins in line to place your order and then another 45-50 mins until it was ready. We ordered two everything bagels BLT’s with fried eggs. The taste was great however the placement of the items was poor as our fried eggs had cracked and yolk had leaked and mixed with the cream cheese that it became a big sloppy mess once we unwrapped and attempted to eat our bagels. Having the eggs fried a little more and maybe cut in half and less cream cheese would have helped. Still recommend but stick to basics and also go early to avoid the...

Quaint little spot with one table outside and 4-6 seats inside (along a bar and one small table). The bagels and ingredients were fresh. One staff member spoke English very well and was helpful. Good news was I was not in a hurry, because the two staff were chatting away the entire time, slowly moving to do the work. There was one person with a bagel order in front of me, and it took about 30 min to get my bagel due to the distraction of the conversation. Ultimately, the food tasted great and fresh. Several vegetarian and a couple vegan options. A bit overpriced, but on par for the tourist season in Lagos.
