Tourist trap! We were in a hurry so we went there. But honestly I don't recommend it. Really expensive, the service is bad and the waitresses are unpolite and the food is not worth the price. Also, there are so many menus with the same information that one gets confused. We ate the menu, for 18 euros (without drinks....) which wasn't that bad served, but for the price you can really get better food with temper.

This was our fourth night in Lagos, and we had the best dinner here. The service was amazing, we have been looked after by Lorenzo who has been running the place for 50 years! Simple yet delicious Portuguese cuisine. We had fish soup and sardines for our mains, and small entrees to start. They played Portuguese music which added to the ambiance. Magnifico!! Would definitely return if we had more time in Lagos.

Kind of depends on what you order, my wife enjoyed her seafood rice, but the pork dish i had was easily the worst meal i had in portugal. The seafood rice was a bit of a production in that the shrimp or prawns come complete and you have to disassemble them to eat them, the crab pieces needed to be cracked and cleaned out and they didnt initially bring the tool to do that. So the seafood dish took forever to eat while i was ready to go after a couple of minutes of the cheapest cut of pork pieces in my Portuguese style pork dish. So not a great experience to have such a variety of consistency in food quality, and at fairly agressive pricing. Eating out on the sidewalk sounded fun but the constant beeping of the crosswalk buzzer every couple of minutes got...

I can’t describe in words how bad this place is. Avoid at all costs. We decided to sit down after seeing that there were quite a few people there already.

Shamefully we didn’t check the Google reviews and were in for the worst meal of the COVID age.

Absolutely horrible, chewy frozen fish. At the time of writing this review, I pray that this won’t ruin my holiday, as the ingredients were questionable.

When we gave them feedback, we were told that we don’t understand the dish; a mild insult. However before ordering, we looked up the dishes and made sure of what we’re about to get.

I have to give it one star since this is the minimum; but I would give it minus if I could.

Horrendous, overpriced food with a side of...

A very mixed experience. Initially, it wasn't busy, and the server was attentive and friendly. That changed as more guests arrived. We were forgotten several times over the course of the evening. We were served a very small, quite generously salted fish with three boiled potatoes. Not a single bit of additional vegetables or a small salad garnish. We had to wait what felt like an eternity for the bill. To our surprise, it said large beers, even though we had small ones. Upon request, this was changed. Overall, we unfortunately won't be coming back.

Addendum: 2 hours after eating, I developed severe...
