I dined here two nights — the first to try the gluten free pizza, and second to enjoy the friendly atmosphere again. Sitting by the open window feeling the fresh evening sea breeze and watching the world go by was priceless. Great way to end a trip. Traveling sola — you’ll feel at home here! Observing the staff was a pure delight, they were their own orchestra so boisterous, yet relaxed, all smiles, and seemed to know everyone who walked by. The pizza chefs tossed the dough high and sprinkled the toppings with care. I loved the sounds from the open air pizza kitchen, plop the dough, swoosh into the air and swahhh onto the long handled pan into the fire. Moments later each pizza and dishes of lasagna would emerge with beautifully bronzed masterpieces. Then crah, crah, crah, the other chef cuts each pizza with contentment before ringing the bell to signal the sound of another order up. There was a constant flow of guests, dine in and to go, and their system was smooth and efficient. You can dine inside and see the talented crew in action and hear the kitchen symphony and their banter, or a table outside under the tent to feel even more of the fresh air and nearby fountain sounds. This attentive, kindhearted, and joyful atmosphere enhances the flavor of every meal and welcomes any and all to pull up a chair at Mama Mia Pizzeria.

There is nothing truly Italian about this place. In a central location but that’s where the good stops. Let’s start with the rude staff that had ZERO personality. They gave no attention to customers and were never around to ask for anything. The lasagna was tasteless and very much box made. Price was cheap less than 15 euros for a water bottle and lasagna.
AAA.AAA.
In one meal we got dirty cutlery, there was a lipstick stain on a glass, and i saw one of the cooks get out of the bathroom without washing their hands. Worst part is one of us threw up after eating the tuna pasta dish. My stomach felt really dodgy too, had the pesto pasta which was not nice at all.

Too long waiting time for just 2 pizza. One pizza was good, the second was totally different to what was ordered. They ran out of 2 main ingredients of the vegetarian pizza and replaced them by sweet corn without consulting us. No apology. Instead, the waiter was showing me the menu trying to convince I was wrong. We didn't want to wait long again for the new pizza without corn to be made, We asked for the bill. This didn't come quick either.

The bill had the wrong pizza on it, exactly the one we didn't receive. This was the most expensive of the 2 we ordered. Again no apology, but reference to the menu that the price is the same. There were 5 drinks on the bill, while we only had 4. No apology again

Conclusion: the food is probably not bad, but the service is slow and very bad and you need to check what you get served and what you pay for. Do not expect...

Terrible, the set menu is a scam, the service is terrible, they gave us pizza when we didn't order it, they do not have a choice of foods when you do this (they make it for you without telling you), the customer service is appalling, genuinely probably the worst I've ever received in my life, he doesn't know how to listen or take the order properly, scowls when he gets it wrong, acts rude, is completely oblivious to when you've finished or not, even if you've been waiting for ages, the set menu portions are TINY, and when you're ready to leave takes AGES to collect the money when it's not even busy! I would not personally advise this place unless you are on the brink of starvation, and even then eating a pebble is...
