The Underdog - Burger & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Lagos

Great spot with excellent food! We tried the tacos, pork gyro, and a double smashed burger.

The tacos were a highlight — crispy chicken with a spicy sauce, super tasty, and each taco had a generous amount of meat.

The pork gyro was flavorful, with delicious seasoning and a very soft pita. A bit on the small side, but still really good.

As for the burger, we ordered the double smashed — which wasn’t actually smashed at all, but we ended up liking it even more that way! Cooked to perfection, red in the center, juicy and full of flavor.

Service was friendly, but lacked a bit of attention to detail. They forgot a water I ordered, only brought one napkin and one set of utensils, even though we were two people.

Looks like a fairly new spot in Lagos and definitely one with potential. I stopped by for a couple of beers—great craft selection on tap. Only small downside is that the beer list isn’t clearly displayed, so it’s a bit hard to know what’s currently available. 4 of us came in for the lunch specials. The vibe of this place was Awesome!!!. Great music and great service! Had a couple of smash burgers and the tuna and teriyaki poke bowls. Paired with a couple of tasty Joe's Ginger beers and some Session Hazy IPA's Food was awesome.
