After reading their reviews we thought we give it a try. When I ordered their Pho soup, I asked for no meat and to have vegetables instead. I am able to take the beef soup just didn’t want to eat the meat. After the waitress checked with the chef, she said they can do that for me. However when my dish was served, I was surprised that it’s just the noodles with soup and some spring onions and onions. That’s all. I checked with her that if that’s the vegetable version and she said yes. Although the soup is tasty I was wondering where are the vegetables. When I asked another waiter, he came back with a plate of fresh romaine lettuce - about 3 leaves. I just had to finish my meal with disappointment. Yes it’s operated by Vietnamese so the taste of the soup is authentic but the side fresh salads that comes with their Pho is missing and there’s very little vegetables even in the meat version. They only take cash. When I asked for the bill, the cashier just told me the total, I don’t even get to see...
Read moreThe Pho noodles dish was very tasty. I love the soup and it reminded me of authentic pho in Vietnam. However, the veggie that accompanies a Vietnamese Pho dish was missing! No bean sprout! No mint leaves! No veg?!! Only some parsley. Nada! I was disappointed that it was not a complete experience of a Pho dish. We had spring rolls and it was delicious and crunchy. The fish sauce that accompanied it was skimpy and not flavourful. Overall the main food was good, but the experience was not very complete (veg, sauce, etc). I did not like the shredded chicken in the pho as they were rather dry and over cooked. Service wise I would hope they could improve with friendliness. No one smile or seemed happy. When we paid, they just told us the total bill amount without printing the receipt. Why? We did not bother to ask.. sigh! People.. service is as important as the food. Keep it up guys! I know it’s hard to run a restaurant.....
Read moreIf you are looking for a cheap option, it's worth it. Cost me 20 euros for pho, spring rolls and a tea. The vegan springrolls were very tasty, the pho was a bit of a let down and the tea was in a regular glass ehich wasn't ideal. The staff was nice, didn't speak English very much, but managed to order. The biggest issue is that at the end you can only pay cash! A big sign at the entrance would avoid the problem. There is a small sign at the counter, but I ordered at the table and couldn't see it from where I was. The staff agreed to let me go to the atm, took me 2 minutes to find one, get the money and walk back. When I came back they seemed worried which made it awkward, I paid and I won't be going back. But again if ypu look for a cheap viet food place, it does the trick, just bring cash, it was alright...
