Although the food was good, as in any of the Padaria Portuguesa places, the service was not so nice: we ordered the breakfast menu which comes with scrambled eggs, toasted bread, orange juice and coffee, and were asked if we wanted the coffee together with the rest of our food or after. We asked for it together with everything but when the food came to the table, the coffees were missing and when we went to ask for them at the counter, we were asked for the receipt, which we had already thrown away in the bin next to the counter. I was trying pastel de natas like my life depended on it and I know this is a bakery chain.... but I gotta say the pastel de nata I had from here is Top 2 pastel de natas - up there with pasteis de belem. There, I said it. I think it's because they sprinkle sugar on top of the crust or something, but the extra textural element that it gives the pastel de nata has just been living in my brain rent-free. Custard had a good richness too, just a really solid...
