A beautiful looking restaurant, let down by useless staff and disappointing food & drink.
We were visiting the restaurant for a birthday meal. We phoned the restaurant the day before to reserve 2 separate tables for 4 people at each table. It was very difficult because the staff members hardly speak any Portuguese despite being in Lisbon.
I was the first to arrive and told the staff member at the door that we had booked two tables. They looked confused like they had no idea we were coming. They sat us at one table and I told them again, that other people are showing up in 10 minutes for the other table. Despite phoning up and being told TWICE, they did not reserve us a table and even gave away the table next to ours to some other people who just walked in without a booking. All the staff members then avoided us as much as possible. The rest of our group had to wait 20-30 minutes until by pure luck another table came available.
We ordered a sangria to drink between our table. It was easily the worst sangria I have ever had and tasted like red wine and water so it was sent back. I've never had a bad sangria in Lisbon before. If they don't know how to make one, then don't put it on the menu or Google how to make one properly.
For mains I had the ramen. It was ok but didn't have a lot of flavour to it. When you order you can choose how spicy you want it. I went for a level 3. It turns out that all they do it pour a hot sauce on top. I could clearly see it on top of my ramen in lines. It wasn't even mixed in to the broth so some parts of the bowl were spicy and others weren't.
The only good thing I can say is that our waiter was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name but he had half blonde hair and half black hair. I tried to give him a 5 Euro tip on the way out but I couldn't find him anywhere in the restaurant. Sorry!
A very disappointing experience with disorganised staff and disappointing food & sangria. I will...
Read moreWe were looking to find a great ramen spot in Lisbon and stumbled upon this restaurant. Upon entering, we were impressed by the anime decor and the cool vibe, but unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there. The so-called waitresses were unprofessional, failing to greet us properly and showing clear frustration that we arrived just before closing time, which we were unaware of. They spoke in a language we understood, not realizing that we were from the same “community”. It was so unprofessional that I felt embarrassed for them.
The food lacked flavor and was unappetizing. When we ordered a mocktail, one of the staff members was noticeably loud while asking a colleague how to prepare it, which was both amusing and uncomfortable for us.
As we were leaving, we noticed one of the girls applying makeup, leaving us puzzled about the atmosphere of this place. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I would recommend avoiding...
Read moreIf you’re looking for amazing ramen in Lisbon, this place is a must-visit! The atmosphere is vibrant, lively, and full of color and character—it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience. From the décor to the energy of the place, everything adds to the excitement of dining here. The staff are incredibly nice and make you feel right at home, but let’s talk about the food—it’s incredible. The chicken ramen was packed with deep, rich flavors, the broth was just perfect, and the chicken was cooked beautifully. The chicken skewers? Absolutely delicious—juicy, flavorful, and so good I could’ve easily ordered another round. One heads-up: if you ask for spicy, be ready! They don’t play around with heat, so make sure you’re prepared for some serious spice if you go for the higher levels. All in all, an amazing ramen spot in Lisbon that delivers on both flavor and atmosphere....
