Visit 1: What a lovely restaurant and brilliant find in Lisbon. The only regret is I didn't get any pictures of of the stunning food. The service from Laxmi was perfect and quality of the food is excellent. It has that home cooked vibe, were every dish is a family favourite and made with love. The restaurant is small and every table was full, with queues outside, which shows how popular this gem is We had beef steak with mushroom sauce, 2 X beef steaks, garlic prawns, squid and a chicken curry with several drinks each and the bill only came to €116 which is incredible value for the service and food we received. Even the side dishes are brilliant, with the vegetables packed with flavour and cooked with that perfect crunch. We'll definitely be back as Armaha offers a brilliant blend of warmth of service and beautiful food. Thank you Laxmi and team. Visit 2 (with photos): Exactly the same experience as visit 1. We chose this restaurant for our last night in Lisbon and it didn't disappoint. Thank you so much for seeing us off...
Read moreExtremely disappointed with this place! Nothing was right about it, the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the friendly waitress, but other than that everything is absolutely poor and below average. The hygiene level is awful and the place is plagued with flies, the overall vibe is very weird and awkward. Food as absolutely overpriced for the quality of it.
Had a creamy chicken pasta and prawn with lemon and rice, NOTHING about the meal was right, the cheese on the pasta was in cubes? Very weird. The chicken was super dry and the cream was average.
The prawn, where do I start, I could taste how many things have been fried using the same oil, very unpleasant, the quantity is so small as well (4 small ones) and the vegetables are not the best at all. Rice waa okay.
The price for this absolute disaster was 26€ which, is extremely overpriced for what was served.
I am shocked that this place has more than 4 stars reviews it's in such a bad form.
Do not recommend at all, not even to my...
Read moreI had the pleasure of visiting Armaha Restaurant a year ago, and the experience was unforgettable. This is more than just a place to eat; it’s a window into authentic Portuguese culture and hospitality.
The food was incredible—authentic, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. Sakib, our waiter, was outstanding—empathetic, hardworking, and always ready to help. His thoughtful suggestions made our meal even more enjoyable.
What made the evening truly special was the owner, Armani, who joined our table. He graciously treated us to a shot of Ginjinha and a traditional Portuguese dessert, Peras Bêbedas. As we enjoyed these, Armani shared captivating stories about Lisbon, how it has changed over the years, and his personal journey.
People often overuse the phrase "food experience," but Armaha truly defines what it should mean: excellent food, warm hospitality, and a genuine connection to the local culture. If you’re ever in Lisbon, Armaha is an...
