Beers — Restaurant in Lisbon

The restaurant has a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere, which made me believe it would be a good choice to have dinner with friends and show them a bit of Lisbon. I have to admit I didn’t check the reviews beforehand which are actually quite low and maybe I could have avoided the situation if I had paid attention.

At first the service was friendly, but there was a misunderstanding: instead of the truffled mushroom risotto we ordered, we got a different dish. The staff member who served us was clearly new to the team and he was polite and attentive, so I don’t blame him for the mistake. The issue, in fact, was the attitude of the supervisor, who gave me the impression of trying to put us in an uncomfortable position and almost forcing us to accept and pay for something we hadn’t ordered. Maybe it was just the way I felt, but it wasn’t pleasant at all.

In the end, the situation was resolved, but the solution came from us, not from the restaurant. I’d like to thank the new staff member for his kindness, but unfortunately the supervisor’s approach was...

We ordered a few dishes, including Secretos com Migas. When they delivered this dish, we asked where the Migas were and they said that they were not available and that they could replace them with rice or potatoes. We decided to take the rice but then noticed that the secretos, which is meat with a lot of fat, were basically just fat. I know this dish very well and what it looked like was that they cut just the remains of the fat from secretos and tried to convince me this was normal. Look at my picture and compare it with the other pictures of the same dish. Then the manager came and tried to explain what a secreto is (I come from the region where this dish comes from, so I know). Moreover, the manager said they the dish no longer has Migas because the Migas were too greasy and people complained, so they never serve Migas (but the menu still includes that...). I sent it back and when I went to pay, they still had it included in my bill so I had to explicitly say I didn't want...

The service at this establishment was extremely disappointing during my recent visit. It was evident that the waiter struggled with understanding English, resulting in numerous errors with our orders. Despite requesting two glasses of sparkling wine, we were served a single glass of regular white wine. To make matters worse, our main courses were brought out before our drinks and snacks, creating a disorganized and frustrating dining experience. The mix-up continued with our main courses being served incorrectly, requiring corrections to be made. To top it off, upon receiving the bill, we discovered that we were overcharged for a beer that was significantly more expensive than the one we had actually ordered. Overall, the service was subpar, and the lack of attention to detail significantly detracted from what should have been an enjoyable...
