Absolutely terrible service! Avoid if you want to enjoy your visit to Lisbon and value your time. I wish I could comment on the food (it did look nice) but we wasted around 45 minutes and had to leave as the staff were blatantly ignoring us. This was around 2pm and it was not busy. We did eventually get menus after asking but then waited a considerable amount of time whilst other customers who arrived much later were being served. Admittedly, a table that arrived long before us were only just getting their food when we left so I’m not sure if it was personal or the service is bad generally. The waitress could clearly see we were waiting and looked right at us but walked off. I’m not sure why this was as everywhere else we have visited in Lisbon has had fantastic service. Funnily enough, after we left our menus were removed from the table instantly. My advice would be, if you do not want people to eat at your restaurant for whatever reason, advise them of this before wasting their valuable time. This experience has had a negative impact on our entire visit sadly and I will make a point to advise any friends/ family visiting Lisbon to...
Read moreA faulty towers like experience.
They started of by trying to serve us the next table overs drinks, after this they managed to actualy come over with ours, but the "home made ice tea" turned out to come in an unopend can.
A normal serving staff whould hear had paus, cheking tabel numers making sure this did not hapend again.
But not hear. They insted tried to serve us another tables food two times and the wrong version of something we had orderd one time.
Du to the fact that we had to be servd food four times to get our one order this understandably took some time.
They finshed al this of by then trying to charge us for things we also hadn't orderd.
On the plus side they where quite apologetic and corected things when pointed out.
The food was generaly mediocere but nothing...
Read moreWanted a light meal - caprese salad (mozzarella could have been supermarket level), ham wrapped dates and canned sardines. Okay, nothing remarkable (horrific in Lisbon where every meal has been nothing short of fantastic), fairly pricy (EUR 11ish for caprese). The green wine was nice. Service was friendly but very, very slow. They gave us the bread and olives, I told them we didn't order it. He said this is what happens in restaurants, we've paid for it already (weird statement). It turned up on the bill later - itemised. Olive oil. Olives. Bread. About five- six euros total. Fortunately one waiter removed it without question when we told him we didn't order it. Which is just as well because I'm a bread lover, and I've never had a white bread that actually...
