Sophia Pizzoteca & Bar — Restaurant in Lisbon

Lovely pizzas but the worst service! Argumentative when we had pre booked, the restaurant inside was empty and asked to sit at another table where we could talk as a group easier, questioned why we couldn’t talk on a long table vs square group table and that set the tone for the evening. Staff pretending they couldn’t hear us when they clearly could then turning the music up so loud that we could not talk, eye rolls and mutters. We were such a nice work business group all polite and friendly just asking to sit at another free table that was available. They gave us it but weren’t happy about it and made that very clear. I still tipped them and hope the business use it for training on customer service as the building and food are all lovely, just a shame about the staff. They forgot some of our food too, the chefs had to chase the waiters around the place to get them to serve...

how cute it this place! I feel so pretty and girlie in this pink themed pizza and prosecco restaurant! Bia our server was an absolute doll and readily available to help with any and all questions about the menu! thank you Bia! we had the Britney pizza, and the hazulent dessert. both were amazing! the fully dough and flavorful sauce made me forget I live in New York. I'll eat this over nyc pizza any day! our drinks, we were all balanced and not heavy at all! I reccomed the Pornstar martini! Last but not least the dessert would have me here every other day if I could! thank you all! and happy ONE year anniversary...

The pizza was pretty good and the staff were super friendly - they even let me have my folded pizza wrap as a regular pizza, which i appreciated. Portion-wise, it was fine for lunch, but honestly felt a bit small for the price.

Lisbon has some top-tier pizzerias and Italian spots that offer more generous portions and toppings for a similar price. Like, mine didn’t have cheese, just Stracciatella di Burrata, so the lack of tomato sauce really stood out.
