Bubble Time Expo — Restaurant in Lisbon

🇬🇧Eng: I can't give 1 stars because the food I ordered was ok, but what a rip off!! (Português em baixo!!🇵🇹)

I payed 3,65€ for a large fruit tea and it was far from my usual experience at My!ced, at that price point I expected more then just one flavour of bubbles/ the tea itself ,yet I had to choose only one and was served a tea that barely tasted of any fruit and wasn't sweet... Whatever, I like green tea alone too. The worst part were the tapioca bubbles, there were less then 30 bubbles (yes, I counted) for my large tea, definitely over 500ml. If you want a more a expensive option but get your money's worth got to BubbleLab (in saldanha).

I also got a bubble waffle for 4,50€, wich wasn't terrible, but it COST ME NEARLY 5€ for a tiny ball of ice-cream (around 2€ or less in any ice cream store), the waffle itself and one of those Cherries. And no, my life did not change after tasting that waffle, or the 🍒.

What about the waiters/ space? The waiters were visibly upset and were pretty rough speaking to me and other costumers, but I get it, the place was cramped. The decor was fine but there was so much noise I don't even get why you'd wanna stay there. If you did wanna stay inside, too bad, tones of teenagers (I'm a teenager too but I felt like I needed to specify) with their laptops taking entire tables in what already is a pretty tiny place. I had to have my waffles outside in a pretty chilly day.

... On the bright side, I got one of those stamped cards! 😑

🇵🇹Port: Tenho pena de não poder dar apenas uma estrela pois a comida estava toda comestível, mas foi um Roubo.

Na minha primeira e única visita comprei um fruit tea por 3,65€ (tamanho grande) e por ter este preço esperava que tivesse a qualidade e sabor do BubbleLab (no Saldanha, mesmo preço mas um sabor incrível) ou tivesse a escolha e variadade do MyIced (baixa-chiado, 2,8€, barato e com preço fixo para qualquer sabor ou sabores que peça) mas claro que nem um nem outro. Apesar de ser mais caro que o MyIced o sabor era perto do não existente, deram me apenas uma escolha e acabei por escolher lichia, pois costuma ser o meu favorito, mas o que veio sabia apenas a chá verde com um pouco de açúcar. Tudo bem, eu gosto de chá verde. A parte mais triste foi mesmo quando me apercebi que apesar de só poder escolher um sabor (escolhi tapioca) o chá veio com menos de 30 bolhinhas, tristes e sozinhas no fundo de um copo com seguramente 0.6 ou mais litros de chá. Talvez eu esteja mal habituada pelos sítio referidos anteriormente, mas a minha vontade foi de chorar com o quão forretas foram com as bubbles.

Comprei também um bubble waffle com gelado por 4,5€, era bom mas custou-me QUASE 5€ por uma bolinha de gelado (2€ ou menos em qualquer gelataria) o waffle e uma cereja. Não, depois de provar aquele waffle a Minha vida não mudou.

E os empregados/ espaço do Times tea and coffe? Foram curtos e grossos, mal falam com os clientes e quando falam é com má cara... Mas não é culpa deles! A "cafetaria" estava lotada e havia uma fila até a porta de clientes. As únicas situações das quais eu me posso queixar são: Eu ter pedido a uma menina no balcão se me podia dar um guardanapo e ela me disse para eu tirar, sendo que os guardanapos estavam ao alcance dela, era apenas levantar o braço, e não ao meu. O facto de que que estava uma dia fresquinho mas tive que me sentar no exterior, por causa de certos clientes que ocupam mesas inteiras com o portátil, no que já é um espaço pequeno.

I wish I could write something nice about this place. Other than the location and vibe there is nothing positive about this boba place as I experienced the worst bubble tea I’ve ha sun my life here. The shop is nice and the employees were fine as well but the tea and boba were absolutely terrible. I’ve had boba around the world and this was the worst. I ordered a classic milk tea with boba and there was zero flavor for the tea not sweet at all and literally tasted like water and milk mixed together. The boba pearls were not fresh and had no taste at all. I hope this place improves but please be aware that you will likely be getting a very bad quality bubble tea experience here! I never waste food especially when it’s not cheap but took a few sips and threw...

Best bubble tea i've had in a while! Their waffles are great too! If i had to say something negative, is that most of the time, its gonna be full, their shop is way too small for how big they are. Also they could use a few more staff, as orders can start to take a while, and its not always consistant, i got my order in 10 minutes, but the person that was with me, and ordered the exact same thing, and was also first, had to wait around 20-25 minutes. It was an inconvenience, but I don't feel that deserves a lower rating for that, since the waffle and tea more than make up for it. I'll be looking foward to next time, i want to see TIME grow even bigger, as...
