Read moreMe and my friends came to have breakfast 1 and half hour before they close. We tried our best to be respectful keeping in mind we don’t know the language. They were so rude from the start. A worker gave us a menu and shooed us off so we went to sit. When we sat, another woman rushed my friend to order. My other friend who actually does speak Portuguese asked if they had vanilla, or oatmilk as she has stomach problems and he said no very rudely. Read moreI asked if she spoke English. Her answer was ‘no’. Then I asked if anyone else spoke English and she started shouting at her colleges. I felt very unwelcome. Wat seemed to be the owner was friendly and the only English speaking at the cafeteria. I was placed outside on the road because the terrace was only for people who took a meal.
