Hot Dog Lovers — Restaurant in Lisbon

Overpriced hot dogs.

Visited this hot dog stand attracted by the sheer amount of good reviews it has.

Asked for the bacon and cheddar hot dog and i was suprised by the crude and rudimentary service.

Employee wore no gloves while preparing the hot dog, the bacon was heated in a microwave and there flies landing on the bread.

Asked for a beer (it's on the menu) and apparently either they weren't serving or there was something wrong with their machine or whatever because i could barely understand the employee's muddled explanation (and i'm portuguese). Ended up getting Coca-Cola.

Payed almost 10€ for an overpriced hot dog (i could have done better at home) and a 33cl soda can.

Then i couldn't get acess to their wifi even though i used the password they have put on a paper below the balcony.

Well, only positive aspect is the location.

Sitting in the middle of Avenida da Liberdade makes a prime location for any joint of this nature.

Everything else was very disappointing.

I've had better hot dogs and overwall service for way less money.

My husband bought a hot dog and paid the machine with a £50 note. The lady on the till was adamant the machine does not accept 50 notes, but my husband already got his change from the machine, so it DID accept the note! Then the lady plain refused to give him the hotdog he ordered unless he pays again! Despite him already paying and the machine taking the money.
