The ambience of this place is great, unfortunately that is where the positive part of this review ends.

It took 10 minutes of standing in the doorway to be seated.

After ordering food, it took 40 minutes for the starter (3 croquettes) to be served. It became apparent no food was leaving the kitchen as the customers began to join tables and discuss how long the food was taking to arrive.

1 hour 30 later, and after a few apologies from the waiters regarding how long the food was taking, it finally began to arrive, much to the delight of the whole restaurant who burst into applause with each dish that was served.

It was not worth the wait.

The lamb chops (see photo attached), had next to no meat on them, and tasted boiled. I am unsure what the side is that is included in the photo, but that was all there was on the plate.

When the issue with the food was raised with the waiter, he seemed surprised? (He could see the food so I am not sure why) and responded with, ‘normally people like this, have you had lamb before?’

When it came time to pay, we were sent to a cash point down the road as card payments were down. We voiced our complaints with the food with the other waiter, who thanked us for the feedback and mentioned it was not the first time they had received this regarding the lamb chops, but unfortunately no discount / concession could be made as the manager was not...

I waited until the end our trip to list this restaurant service as very poor. As an owner of multiple restaurants I rarely will post a complaint. We had a reservation and were late because Uber couldn't find the location. My wife and I were seated at the bar. Place was full. Bartender was supposed to be our server. Ordered a drink each and a half hour later still no drinks even though we were directly in front of him....too busy with cocktails construction. Still couldn't order a starte or meals 40 minutes later. Finally a server came and took our order, thank you to her she was pleasant. The manager who was frequently behind the bar and knew we hadn't been served and were losing patience would not offer any apology or make eye contact. This was possibly the worst service experience I've ever had in North America, and all our travels in Europe and the Americas. My wife really liked her food but that was the only redeeming quality. I feel that the bartender and Mgr likely will remember because the BT was lifting his hands to gesture 'What can I do?' I'm so busy....have a second BT on for the service or better yet as the Manager step in and help out and engage with...

I have never left a bad review, however, I left this restaurant very disappointed on our last night in Lisbon. I ordered the Grilled Sirloin Steak with blue cheese sauce and french fries. I asked for it medium rare, and the steak was completely raw. So raw, that the steak hadn't even gained heat and was still cold. I have never sent back my food before, however, deemed appropriate since it was completely inedible. Of course, I apologised to the waitress and wanted to be polite about the matter. I cut into it to show the waitress, and thought she might agree with me and kindly take it back to the kitchen. The waitress gave me attitude as she took it back to the kitchen. Once they recooked the steak, I thought they were making a joke out of me. The steak was like leather, extremely overcooked. The waitress asked if it was better, and I didn't want to make a fuss or waste any food so I just said yes. I didn't appreciate such unfriendly and unwelcoming service.

However, my partner ordered the cuttlefish ink risotto and we shared an entree of croquettes, and they...

We had a great evening at Casa dos Pecados in Lisbon. The vibe was chill and inviting, with a stylish bar and cozy atmosphere that made us want to stay around. We started with cocktails and an appetizer of Pica Pau, which was flavorful and well-seasoned. For mains, we had the Bacalhau com Natas and the Risotto de Camarão, both were delicious. The risotto portion was on the smaller side but very tasty, and came with two whole shrimp on top. We paired everything with a bottle of Tavado white wine, which complemented the meal perfectly. Prices were reasonable for the quality and setting. Special shoutout to Claire, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. Casa dos Pecados is a great spot for dinner and drinks in Lisbon, highly recommended.

Fantastic restaurant/bar and overall lively experience. The owner and staff have stuck great energy, friendly and helpful and just look like they enjoy what they do. They play a fantastic mix of music including a lot of oldies and the staff sings and dances to them the whole night as well many patrons. The food was excellent, if your a steak lover, definitely order the steak on the hot stone. Comes to the table on a wood block+ stone as rare and you essentially cook it till your hearts desire. The owner appreciates those who appreciate the experience 😄. Also highly recommend the shrimp risotto it was exceptional. The wine list is great and drinks were also perfectly made. Thank you for a beautiful night out, we will recommend to anyone we know that go to Lisbon!
