Clan Destino — Restaurant in Lisbon

Went into this experience with 0 expectations. Just saw the pictures and tought "oh that looks good". Risky but it paid off! The host was one of my favorite part of this experience. He was super slammed the day we went and was the only one in the restaurant other that the cook but he was a champion, making drinks, hosting, serving, and everything with a great energy and amazing customer service. Now the food! Best Tacos I've had in Lisbon hands down. Amazing tortilla and the seasoning on the meat? Perfect. Get the chicken one if you can. For mains we got the risotto and while I could tell it was good, it had cloves in it and it's not my thing, but my friend loved it! The Mexican "lasagna" was great and I won't spoil the surprise. For desert we got the chocolate cake, and while I love chocolate, the star of the plate was definitely the coconut ice-cream that came with it. My family and I had a fantastic meal here last night. The service, food and atmosphere were spectacular!

We started with the house speciality cocktail which was their take on a margarita made with mezcal and was so delightful we had a few too many 😅

For food we had one of the quesadillas which was absolutely beautiful. Then we had the octopus ceviche and pork risotto for our mains. As someone who usually doesn't like octopus, I actually really enjoyed the ceviche and the risotto was perfectly cooked. Then we had tacos and every single one was delicious! We rounded out the meal with a few of the desserts and yet again we were blown away by the presentation, texture and flavors.

On top of all that, the host and his brother (who is also the chef) had a jam session during our meal that just added to the whole experience.

I went to a lot of restaurants in my life but this one takes the 1st prize. The owner was the friendliest person I've ever met in a restaurant, the food was superb and the feel in the entire restaurant felt like home.

I highly recommend anyone visiting or living in Lisbon to go to this restaurant. It was also astounding to see how little the food cost compared to the quality.

It's also amazing that this restaurant is open until 2 AM compared to every other restaurant in the area closing around 11 PM which is very nice if you had a day at the beach for example.
