Based on the VERY positive reviews, our expectations were very high. Maybe that’s why there were some disappointments. I personally tried the shrimp in gochujang sauce, which was really amazing – rich and tasty. As a side, I ordered a kimchi pancake and some kimchi. The pancake was nice but not sour at all, unfortunately – more on the sweeter side. Their kimchi was also less fermented than I like.

My 2 friends shared one of the house specials (9 different meats). They did not like some of the meats and were overall a bit disappointed. For the money we spent, we were hoping for a better experience. Maybe it is better to choose your own meats you like than to have the platters they offer, since there is a chance you won’t like more of those.
