Excellent food. We had a tasting menu. First, they brought cheese, bread, and olives. Then, we enjoyed starters: mushrooms in red wine and mixed salad. After that we had an excellent squid. Then, we tasted cod with vegetables. The fish was a bit too salty, still it was an excellent dish. We have ordered a steak in coffee sauce. Such an excellent tapas! We planned to finish our meal, but suddenly, they brought six grilled pieces of meat and French fries. We had to beg waiters stop bringing food. At this point, we had seriously considered to skip the dessert. But the gentleman who was serving us has encouraged to try either a chocolate mousse, a cake or fruits. We have asked for abacaxi. We have received a nice chocolate cake with forest fruits and chantilly crème. When we started eating this, a pineapple had arrived! That was the abacaxi. So we had to beg not to bring us any more dessert. Excellent menu, overall. I...

A busy place with generous portions of Tuna, Cod, Steaks, etc. that'll easily feed two people or more. Each platter will cost around 20 euros. The list doesn't have a huge choice, but has enough dishes and entrees to please different appetites. Things look fresh - the restaurant has a lot of movement so this is expected - and there's also a good choice of wines to go along with the meal. The place doesn't accept Card payments which is a bit of a no-no for a restaurant that mainly hosts groups - many of tourists - where Bills will be expected to reach a few hundred euros. I have to say that I personally find Card Payment to be - more than a convenience - a payment solution that keeps businesses (more) accountable tax wise, so this upsets me more than the average Patron. All in all is a place worth visiting, just make sure you reserve ahead or you'll find yourself waiting outside for...

Yeah, been coming off and on for a while, but recent visit was not great. Food still good, athough rice very watery...Service sadly lacking. Outside can have 25 diners, but at times 15 minutes go by with no waiter in site..just busboys..next, they forgot one of our dishes..the table next to ours had same issue..when your done, you can expect your dirty plates to stay on the table in front of you till you leave..guess they didnt learn to remove plates after the customer finishes..finally, staff changed after an hour and our waiter was replaced by another who served for like 8 minutes..then when the bill came, a new sad reality in Lisbon, he said on multiple occasions to leave something for him in cash on the table..Uggh, begging for tips for bad service..please stop..its not a great way for getting customers .maybe Ill get takeaway some...

First of all the bread olive and cheese they have on the table are not free. We didn’t know that so we had to pay 10 euros more for them. If you don’t want to pay extra you have to say before that you don’t want them. The food portions are really big and thankfully out waiter warned us that half a portion would be enough for two people, and we ordered only half portion so be careful while ordering. The meat was very high quality and the sauce was also good and tasty. Fries are also coming with the meat and they were also really good, the salt on the fries was right amount and they were crispy. We also ordered a starter which we really liked. We tried pie, we could have not tried it. It was nothing special. For all the meal we payed 51 euros including drinks and desert which i believe is a really good price. Highly recommended.

We had the sea bass as it was recommended to us, it was a massive portion enough for 3 people and included potatoes, chickpeas and cabbage so no need to order sides. Quick heads up: olives, bread and cheese (very tasty) will be brought to your table automatically, you will be charged for these unless you send them back. We also had their special sangria, not sure it tasted anything like sangria but was pretty good and good value anyway. Spent 58€ for 2 people for all of the above if anyone is looking for a reference. Restaurant was pretty much full on a Saturday night and we got the last table for 2. Service was ok, stretched thin with so many customers and the waiter didn’t know much English but we managed to get what we ordered and we were happy.

Extra charge from the start of the dinner. You will be welcomed with 8 euros of bill (in 2 people in my case, see picture) for something that nobody asked. After that you will need to choose a plate in a menu with the price doubled, the waiter will tell you immediately that the dished will be for two people. When the dish (large like the table you have) arrives, you realize that it could feed 3 people and in 2 people will be impossible to finish. When you ask for the bill you will find the surprises, for ONE dish in two €35. In the end: You want to see the menu from outside? You can just a the menu WITHOUT the prices (illegal). You want to pay with the credit card? You can't, only cash. You want the receipt? You can't have it. Judge yourself
