The museum is in the formerly abandoned building of neurosurgery service of St. Antony of Capuchins' Hospital. Despite the old appearance of the building, the interior is quite clean with modern look. there are 7 rooms in total in the museum, each dedicated to specific era in the history of health in Portugal. the museum itself was very small. I expected a more detailed and more rich collection considering the history of Portugal. But it can be explained by the date of opening of the museum in 2017. There is no shop there. It has free entrance on Wednesdays...

This was such a cool and informative museum it really took me by the hand with its audio tour. It explained very well all the amazing and innovative advances the healthcare and medical world made in relation to Portugal. So cool to see as well it was 2 Portugese scientist how made the first contrast image of the brain. Highly recommend this...

It’s free on every Wednesday. The staff is very friendly. They have audio guide in 3 languages, very convenient. But I hope the description of each exhibition can offer English too. The museum itself isn’t big, but very well-maintained and displays the medical history etc. I can’t understand much though.
