La Expo Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Lisbon

The worst italian resturant I have ever eaten in Portugal and lisbon, I cannot believe this was rated as better, we ordered focacia ravioli and gnocchi and drinks, all dishes were horrible, the focacia wasn't even made in oven, they took a pizza prepared based fried it in pan and it tasted like dipped bread in oil, the ravioli tasted like it was purchased frozen in supermarket and then overcooked and deeped in oil( but a cheap supermarket frozen), the dnocchi was dipped in cream porrdge and tasted with no taste, in addition the drinks were way overpriced, the whole meal was extremely expensive for portugal and especially for this bad food, when the focacia arrived we complainwd and asked to change it, the waiter replied this is what it is, took the dish back and billed us for the dish ( 7.5 euros in portugal - way expensive) to conclude, ibwould give this place zero stars if possible and send a firm warning to stay away from this "luxurious" tourists...

It is an average place. The food is nothing to rave about, pretty much standard average Italian food, the pizzas are nothing to be remembered about, ingredients are basic, overall pretty much standard of what one would expect from a Pizza Hut or Domino's. The risotto, not well cooked, the rice used was not for risotto, and it has too much rice and very little everything else, it was a rice dish, to call it risotto is a bit overboard for what we were served. Even the Portuguese dish - Bacalhau a Braz - was just average. The portion was nice, but flavour-wise, again, nothing...

Medium quality Italian food. I was in a party with predefined orders and the quality was just very meh... There was sticky funghi risotto, dry penne pesto, 2 types of pizzas with more cheese flavor than toppings, lasagna with too little bechamel... The only good plates were the initial cheese-garlic bread and the sangria. The panacotta was also not nice at all. For a 25€ menu I would say it was...
