Our visit to The Green Affair was unfortunately marred by poor service, an unpleasant environment, and subpar food quality. As frequent travelers and food enthusiasts, we were looking forward to trying this vegan establishment, but left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.
The service was the most glaring issue. We were ignored for an extended period, possibly due to our casual attire (we were dressed comfortably for an upcoming flight). Even after placing our order via the QR code system, the staff seemed unaware of our presence. To add insult to injury, we observed other patrons who arrived and ordered after us being served immediately, while we continued to wait.
The waitress was notably rude, reprimanding us for having our reusable water bottles on the table.
When our food finally arrived, it came without utensils or napkins. Upon requesting these basic dining necessities, the staff acted as if our request was a bothersome inconvenience.
The food quality was extremely disappointing and barely edible. When we finally received our order, we found it to be bland beyond belief. It desperately needed flavor enhancement, for which we had brought a spice to add and were told we could not add anything to our food and had to put it away (along with the water bottles). The "roasted vegetables", may as well have been fried as they were dripping with oil and the bowl with beets, & quinoa had absolutely no flavor.
What should have been a quick pre-flight meal turned into a long wait for takeout after we decided we couldn't tolerate the poor service and environment any longer. The Green Affair needs significant improvements in customer service, and, food quality and flavor. The lack of basic dining essentials and the staff's reluctance to provide them further underscores the need for better training and attention to customer needs. Until these issues are addressed, we cannot recommend this restaurant to others, particularly those seeking enjoyable...

Read moreFood okay, service not great …enough waiters yet they don’t seem all that bothered to help the customers.
Edit after my initial review: fair enough and thank you for replying. I don’t review often, but was annoyed by the service upon my visit to your restaurant. I came with my daughter and for some reason her drink was forgotten. Okay that happens and after requesting again she got her drink. Then the burger came and the waitress asked if we like sauce with the fries. She requested ketchup and again nothing came. While we were waiting we tried several times to get the attention of the staff, but nobody even looked in our direction. Which really stood out to me since the restaurant was really not that busy and there were plenty waiters around. We have really enjoyed the Portuguese hospitality so far on our trip, but weren’t feeling much of that from the staff yesterday. On a more positive note: the food really is good even if the portions could be a bit larger...
