Went there last night. Overall very good pizza and incredible service, would definitely recommend to someone looking for a pretty authentic Italian style pizza, with a relaxed atmosphere. Although the food was very good my girlfriend and I both agreed that the food was a bit overpriced for what you are getting. Upon arrival we asked about a fork coupon and they said they didn’t have any available anymore (they only offer 10 per night) however we decided to eat here anyway and our waiter was very generous and ended up giving us a 30% discount anyways. Because of this we ended up ordering an appetizer, it was very yummy and filling, which we weren’t expecting. we ordered one pizza to share and they even split it in half for us, as you can see in the photos, and the thin crust, crispy, and light pizza definitely hit the spot.(we had the Luzzo pizza) Overall good food, maybe a bit overpriced, but phenomenal service that would definitely persuade me to return in the...
Read moreMy experience with Luzzo started at Graça, and I was content with that branch. However, I moved to a place closer to this branch. Initially, I felt it was not as good as the one in Graça but lately, it became so bad that I had to write a review.
Firstly, the food quality is bad. It is not the ingredients, it is the end result; everything is extremely dry. Romano base pizza is like burned paper and Napolitano base is not fluffy at all. The sauce on the pizzas are always dried and sticked to the dough. Overall eatable but bad.
Atmosphere is ok, the issue is Restaurant is always empty and doesn't give a good look.
Lastly, the worst of everything is the Service. They are extremely slow, they miss the orders and pizzas are always cold. I don't understand how they manage to do it but they do it.
As conclusion I can say this Restaurant is consistently bad for about 2...
Read moreThe food is okayish...not great. I love pizza but I couldn't enjoy the one that they served me. The same happened to two other friends that were with there me. The worse for me is that they run from the IRS: I decided to pay in cash and asked for a receipt, which they have to give you by law. I reminded them about the receipt at least 3 times and there was always an excuse. Eventually I waited until closing time and still wasn't given the receipt - they literally pretended they didn't listen to me and closed the restaurant with me (and another friend that also paid by cash and was waiting for the receipt) just outside their door. So basically, they don't declare their earnings when you...
