An outrageous incident occurred this night. As always, my friends and I ordered tofu ramen. My friend tried the soup and suspected that it was made with meat broth. We laughed, noting that it was spicier than usual, and continued eating, but after consuming a certain amount of the soup, she decided to go to the counter and clarify which soup she had been served. The chef immediately confirmed that one of the soups was made with meat broth. After she mentioned that she hadn’t eaten meat for 30 years and couldn’t tolerate it, the chef and all the other staff began insisting that the soup was vegetarian. The staff started running back and forth, speaking in an incomprehensible “English,” and smirking. We demanded a refund since such behavior was incredibly disrespectful. We asked for a complaint book, which, by the way, took a while for them to find. We also requested the manager’s phone number, but they refused to provide it. One of the staff mentioned that there were cameras above the kitchen, and it would be possible to check what exactly was poured into the bowl. We are eagerly awaiting your review of the footage and an answer to the question, “What was in the bowl?” You can also see on the camera that my friend visited the restroom twice, as...
Read moreIt was the worst dinner and the service in Lisbon. I ordered pork ramen without any spices, and a lemonade. I noticed that the food could be not spicy! When I swallowed the broth in my ramen, I started to cough. It was sooo spicy. My cough was very strong, I couldn't breath and choked. Nobody among the staff didn't come to me. I went to the WC to drink tap water. When I came back to my seat, after a couple of minutes, the table was clear, whithout my food and drink. When I asked the staff what’s going on, they answered that to return my food is not possible, return my money is not possible, and take my food away is also not possible (I planned to take it for my boyfriend, he loves spicy food). They prefer me to go home and bring the box for food! And a bottle for drink. So I went away without money, without food, hungry and with the tears after the coughing attack. I am convinced that refusing to return me the money was illegal. I’ll never visit this place again. At least I didn’t...
Read moreWe were looking for some ramen in the city and were recommended this place, but not sure why. The menu is scarce. There are only 3 ramen options (beef, pork or tofu) I believe. I had the beef option and my friend the tofu option. There was no mention of 'add on' options of vegetables which is why I assumed it just came with some. Sadly, there was not single vegetable in sight in either of our dishes.I was surprised by the type of 'cow meat' that they used for beef ramen, it's not what you usually get. My friend said the tofu was actually quite good but the same meat broth seemed to be used for both dishes. When I asked for a take away container, I was told that they don't have any 'since they don't have take out service'. That seems to be the excuse they are going with. Quite sad to be honest considering we should all try to be more conscientious with...
