The taste of my lasagna was nice. It's weird that, being it a ragú lasagna, it was nearly suitable for vegetarians. Staff is helpful but they demand a tip, by stamping the ticket with a warning about not being it included. Of course not! My waiter even suggested a 5€ tip for a dinner of 32€. Too expensive a dinner and such a tip would be a ridiculous exaggeration anyway. Tips are not compulsory in Portugal. Most Portuguese people would typically leave, if they decide it to, a few dozens CENTS tip for a one person dinner. One Euro tip for a dinner of four would be more than a typical tip. Waiters are in most places here surprised (very) for my tips, when I leave 1 euro tip for 10 euros on beer, for instance. Apparently this place changed name and reviews are now better but I fear that it's another tourist trap, similar to a few others around. I come to Lisbon for one week every month, I've had dinner in many places. This is among the top five worst ones. They made me feel bad, for me and for others. The taste of the lasagna was nice, I repeat. The bruschetta too was good but how a toast can be bad? I don't know about the rest, the pizzas that I saw looked like somebody mentioned here: a mass of cheese. Maybe that's their style and they are good, I...
Read moreBeautiful restaurant, pizza and drinks were amazing, prices totally fine and server very nice and quick. However, the limocello is obnoxiously large, which eventually lead to our downfall. We ordered two limocello, thinking it would be a small glass, and got 400ml (guesses) glasses. The server laughed a bit, asking if we really ordered two, and never having drunken limocello bevore we were confused as to why he found it so funny. I drank half the glass bevore eating my pizza, and when it finally hit, I thought I was about to pass out. My eyes moved slower than my head, I struggled to stand, much to the amusement of my girlfriend. If you ever have a bad date, or an awkward family meeting, just go here and order a limocello. It will turn into the best evening. Literally the funniest part of our Lissabon Trip. 10 Out of 10...
Read moreThe pizzas were nice, but they didn't live up to "the true Italian pizza" description. The ham on the "Parma" pizza was not prosciutto di parma. The service was poor. We ordered aperitifs to enjoy while we waited on our pizzas. We waited for almost 20 minutes, and then the drinks arrived, followed immediately by the pizzas. I would have ordered another, different, drink to accompany the pizza, and we would have stayed for dessert and coffee, but I think it is bad business to leave guests waiting 20 minutes without a drink. I'm sure better pizza and better service can be found elsewhere without...
