Let’s make it clear from the beginning that everything in there is overpriced! One does not go there for the food, but for the service which was great and fast, for the space which has a “chique” vibe and even for the big giraffe in the center.

The cheapest dishes available start at 20€ and they are usually some pasta or rice whiteout any type of meat or fish. If you go up in the price you start to get to the meats around 30€ but they do not have any sides, each side dish is around 6 to 7€ and let me tell you that the portions are not big at all. About the flavors, I tried the Mac and cheese which is exactly what it say in a small dish around 20€. I tried the house steak for 30€ which was ok, but definitively not worth that money + 7€ per a dish of vegetables. Some friends tried the a noodles dish and it had a lot of ginger.

About the drinks, a jar of sangria is either 30 or 40€ depending on the flavor and to be honest I am not sure it was 1L. All other cocktails are starting around 13€.

The service was great, the guy that was with us was fast, really nice and the entire service was smooth. The big draw back is that at 10PM they make you leave the table for the following reservation, so either you go to the bar or you need to stand up with very loud music.

The space it self was nice, big but also with a lot of tables and it has a giraffe that you can take pictures with.

In summary, if you are searching for good food where you pay what you should, this is not it. If you come here, expect average food with high prices a chique vibe and prepare to leave your table...

The restaurant policies are ridiculous, they made us laugh so much, the women at the reception were pretentious, without class, without style and lack of education, at the entrance they told us that they have a dress code, it doesn’t make sense, and which must be classic and not jog-jeans, which I was wearing, they were all black Louis Vuitton classic joggers! Everything I had on was designer clothes, classic and completely black, nothing too flashy but instead more like discreet.

The restaurant was literally empty, just 1 table with 2 people seating, as a tourists that was just hilarious, nowadays a place like this shouldn’t even be open to public, so simple, not elegant, normal casual and that has these kind of “dresscode” policies thats something bizarre. I don't if I was the manager or the owner of this place how happy could it be knowing that his potential clients are treated this way, also knowing that at the peak hour of lunch he only has one table occupied.

I had previously called to make the reservation which was not even necessary. And they never mention any dresscode, I would never have gone if I knew this is that type of jugdamentel place, I'm not surprised why this place has such an unfavorable rating if from the reception the people are just so unpleasant. I do not recommend it to anyone....

my recent experience at Praia na Parque on November 16, 2024. I initially decided to visit because of the wonderful time I had spending New Year’s Eve in Lisbon, which left me with fond memories of this venue. Unfortunately, my recent visit was disappointing and fell short of my expectations.

Over the past two days, I noticed an unsettling practice regarding entry to the venue. While some guests appeared to gain access through a legitimate guest list or personal connections, others seemed to be subject to arbitrary decisions. In particular, I observed that a staff member positioned behind the security guard appeared to make decisions based on personal preference rather than any transparent criteria. Guests who were turned away were often told they were not on the guest list—despite there being no clear evidence of such a list in operation.

This experience was frustrating and left me feeling unwelcome. As someone who visits Lisbon regularly for business, I place great value on consistent and professional service. Regrettably, this incident has made me reconsider including Praia na Parque among my preferred destinations.

Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I hope this input will help improve the experience for...

Dropping one star because the shrimp tacos were repulsive… not yummy at all, they were ice cold, flavourless, awful texture… totally inedible. But everything else was amazing! The oysters were fantastic, the tuna tartare was scrumptious… super flavourful, amazing texture, beautiful caviar garnish… the couvert was lovely… the garlic and herb butter was delicious, the hummus was delicious… the argan oil was not nice at all though & they should really consider switching to olive oil… the bread was wonderful, there was toast bread, whole meal bread, broa (great quality)… the chocolate cookie for dessert was good, a little dry & chewy but personally I like it this way… full of chunky chocolate chips, great flavour… it was topped with a very yummy citrus cream… the wine was great, the tequila was great, the Moscow mule was divine… best I’ve ever had!! The espresso martini was very unique, it was almost like a frozen coffee chocolate alcohol smoothie. The ambiance was lovely, the service from Raquel was impeccable. My only complaint about the establishment was that they were not serving tables outside that evening, which as a smoker I would have preferred. But I will definitely return here, it’s a very nice place.

This is such a beautiful central park setting, architecture and decor that it is a pity when people badmouth it to be a slightly upmarket Lust in Rio, bit it is a fact that the waiters will be surprised if you show up without celebrating a birthday. We were 4 for dinner with couvert, water, good white wines, a shared burrata, steak with fries, a robalo filet, 2 shamefully tuna steaks (which were too thin to braise and thus cooked to the greyest of grey without any taste, despite us asking first how thick they were cut and they at serving joked that they were 1.1cm), a shared petit gateau caramelo with a delicious hazelnut ice cream, a very good banarama cocktail, LBV ports and a coffee for €380 incl. the recommended 8% tip. In a forgettable experience, we had a moment of brilliance, when I ordered a too complex arinto wine from Torres Vedras and the outstanding sommelier Antonio came running to my rescue and asked if I was sure that all at the table would appreciate my choice as much as me, which after a tasting was proven to be right so he changed it without adding it to the bill. This is the level we had expected all around and we were so pleased that we stayed for the cocktail and ports.
