Yummy food, especially the shrimp curry! We also had black pork as well as the tuna tartare appetizer. The vegetable soup was thick and creamy and delicious😁 I would recommend against the couvert. It was 2 pieces of bread, a tiny bowl of olives, and some butter. We’ve definitely had better couverts at a better price elsewhere. We were a group of 4 people and got seated quickly. Part of the reason this is a 4 star is because our service was below what we expected at this restaurant. There were other large birthday parties happening and maybe they were slightly understaffed at this point in time, which could have been the reason. Empty plates stayed on the table for a while, and it was hard to grab the attention of our server. Another partial reason to our 4 star instead of 5 is the couvert, as well as the tuna tartare coming with literally 3 toasties for the dish. Bread is cheap, adding a bit more to these dishes would not hurt at all. We did ask for more toasties for the tartare and were given a couple more. Which we do appreciate. Definitely would go back, but would personally stick to soup + a main dish 🙂

After several hours of walking around and sight seeing, we decided to stop here to relax for late lunch and drinks. It was less convenient than I would have liked to get there by public transportation, but if I remember correctly, there was a better choice (train?) that we did not figure out until it was too late. Plenty of restaurant and bar options. We had lunch and then just walked out to the bridge and took in the surroundings before stopping at a couple of other places for drinks and spent a few hours there overall. It was a beautiful day and a very laid back atmosphere everywhere. Plenty of outdoor dining or drinking options with a view.

I ordered a prawn with risotto and cheese, the dish is very tasty, however it is very small and not filling, if you go for that one I would order a starter as well. And my partner got 1995 steak. The steak comes with egg and a really good sauce, and unfortunately also with some chips which are not tasty at all. This dish as well is very small considering you get chips for dinner, would aslo go for a starter in this one. The location is very nice and fancy, prices are very high and portions are small but the food isn't bad at all that's why the score is 3 🙂

For me it will be 3,5/5 The restaurant is very well located with a nice view on The 25 de Abril Bridge ! And the service were kind and friendly. The price ( for a french tourist ) are pretty well interesting even for a touristic place. ~ Secretos de Porco Preto Grelhados ~ Porc steaks served with salad and french fries. (The fries and salad was good but very common but the meat was damn good) ~ Cheesecake de Frutos Silvestres ~ Cheesecake with red fruits A classic , good but not amazing.

This is one of those places where you mix the cool, the chilled, and the traditional with a bit of modernism. The food is very tasty, very real and very fresh. The staff is very professional and friendly, attentive to the customer. You can go fancy for a business meal, formal one, and you can go casual just to meet some friends have a drink and enjoy the company of each other. This is a great place to be, be seen and enjoy a good drink!
