Arrived when it was quiet, placed order, enjoyed the bread and cheese and drinks... then nothing. For one hour we sat there (trying to keep the child entertained all the while), and watched those who came in after us be seated, served, get their meals (and in one case dessert after they had finished their meals) without even the slightest hint of our food. We were ignored by the staff as they walked past us several times without a word or even a glance and so either we were forgotten or our order got lost and they didn't notice six people sitting by the door with no plates on their table. Given the small size of the place that is ridiculous. It was an appalling way to treat customers and not at all reflective of the reviews I read which brought us here and left us with a very hungry and upset child. We paid for our drinks and starters but there was no hint of any discount or concession by way of apology. If you go here then I would advise making sure you keep on top of the staff. In the time it's taken me to write this review we have ordered somewhere else and had three staff members check on us in...

The only challenge is that the owner only speaks in Portuguese. They somewhat fixed the issue by adding pictures of each dish...

It was empty when we came in around 3:00, so rightfully so we were skeptical but the food was some of the best I have ever had. This was a hidden, hole in the wall spot, which only a few locals came into. I had a huge piece of veal steak and a heaping portion of rice and fries for only 14€. This restaurant was truly a blessing and I promise you will not be...
