Versailles — Restaurant in Lisbon

We decided to try here for lunch as the food coming out looked lovely. We ordered 2 soft drinks and 2 burgers. Our burgers seemed to e mistakenly delivered to the table behind us who arrived and ordered after us. We then watched other tables who arrived after us receive and finish their meals. After a 45 minute wait I finally managed to get the attention of a waiter by walking directly up to him (all waiters had ignored our waves for attention until this) to ask when we should expect our food as we'd been waiting a long time in comparison to other tables. The waiter explained there was an error but our food will be with us in 4 minutes (quite a precise timescale). A further 15minutes passed and still no meal so sadly we decided enough was enough. When I asked to cancel the order and just pay for the drinks I was just told sorry and allowed to leave. Clearly the food was not in the process of coming out. Absolutely terrible service from start to finish. Such a shame as the food did look lovely but the service was substandard and for this reason I absolutely do not recommend...

It is quite difficult in Belem to find a spot for a calm lunch due to the mass of tourists. Versailles had a little table for us and offered us lunch for today. We ordered a burger, fries, salads, a soup, and bread with olives. The food was good, but nothing special. The fries were pretty soft and didn’t taste very good and rather old, and also the soup was not really to recommend. Bread and olives were good, as well as the burger. Salad was also good, and we were able to dress it ourselves. The hospitality can, in my opinion, definitely be improved and also the toilets were pretty painful honestly. Overall an average restaurant, good for a small bread break and a cold drink. Not a fancy place, even though the waiters outfit...

Do not go here! The staff are incredibly rude. Three of us sat here to have a snack after checkout before heading to the airport. I'm not sure if they have something against all tourists or just people from Brazil, but the waiter was unhelpful and inattentive throughout even when it was quiet. He threw the food, and cutlery infront of us, the food was cold. The seemed to be kinder to local customers, offering them coffee after the meal, we didn't receive any offers.
