TGB - The Good Burger Parque das Nações — Restaurant in Lisbon

At first I was exploring the area around the restaurant with my friend since we’re both tourists, but I had to go to the bathroom and couldn’t find any so I walked into TGB and asked if I could use their bathroom, the staff were super friendly and told me to feel free to use it, I thanked them and went out again to keep exploring the area, and after a while, me and my friend got hungry and decided to comeback since they were nice to us, then we were surprised by how good the food is as well! I ordered “Frango Crunchy” €5.90 “Batata frita palito” €2.50 and a Cola €1.90 in which he gave me a cup and I filled it from the cola machine (Total €10.30).

You receive a device that will ring once you’re food is ready.

The food took 10 minutes to be ready and was well cooked and the interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed, the place was super clean and there was a plug so I also charged my phone.

Good food, bad service and hygiene

Both in Portugal and Spain, they have a horrible service and hygiene.

In regards to the service, they take an awful lot of time to take your order and to prepare it. Usually there's only one employee and a huge line.

In regards to the hygiene, the used serving trays go directly to the kitchen without being cleaned, where they get handled by the staff preparing your food.

To add insult to injury, the kitchen staff also handles the nasty buzzers they give you (to call you when your food is done) because the staff taking orders is too busy. They seemingly do not change their gloves, even when...
