The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively, with great music, an excellent wine selection, and a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay all night. Ronny and Dhillan are the best—so friendly, accommodating, and always making sure everyone is having a great time. Whether you want to sit and enjoy a glass or pick up a bottle to take home, atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with great music and a solid selection of wines. Plus, they stay open late, which is rare for Alfama, making it a perfect place to end the night. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Lisbon! 🍷🐢

We rounded out a great stay in Lisbon with an evening drink at the Tipsy Turtle. The drinks and cheese board were great, and the best part was the owner / manager / barman. He was really knowledgeable, lots of good advice about wine, port and the broad range of spirits and after dinner drinks. My wife ordered Doces Traditionais, Keira Baixa, Licorice Pastel de Nata. It really was Libon's famous pastry in a bottle. A few other people in the bar also ordered the same after hearing the "ooh's and aah's". A fun, friendly spot.

So lucky we found this wine bar- amazing service, wine and cheese. Met a new friend, Mary, who said the beer was great. Bartender Dillon’s recommendations were excellent- we tried so many wines we loved with tastes before we decided on a glass. We tried so many- full bodied red, tawny port, and red and white sangria (freshly made to order). The cheese plate was excellent- recommend the medium size for 2+ people. For atmosphere, service and quality, this is the place, highly recommend.

We were excited to check this place out due to the high reviews but I'm not sure where they're coming from. We ordered 4€ vinho verde and 7.50€ but were charged 8€ and 8.50€ respectively. When confronted, the server said it was because he gave us better stuff. I'm not sure why he didn't ask if that was okay first. It feels very disingenuous and I would not recommend it. He also kept pushing us to order more even though we had let him know that we had had enough. Skip and go to...
