Having read the reviews I see folks like the humility and friendly attitude. This place is small. The fish is definitely fresh. There are no frills here so it's fairly basic fare. The miso soup was well flavoured and not salty. The Agadashi tofu is not one I usually find in Portugal so I enjoyed this reminder from overseas. The sunomono is a little on the sweet side for me. Very small place. They only have 5 tables of 2 sitting each. Very cramped and no proper ventilation. There is only one waitress and only one chef. The waitress could neither speak Portuguese nor English well. She was too busy she was not looking at us. After waiting for half hour we got up and placed order at the counter.

The hours are incorrect. One couple came at 9:15pm but they refused to take them in saying that they were closing.

Food itself was pretty average. Sushi was okish. Tempura shrimps were small.

Ordered a 15 piece combination. 6 pieces (40%) were just cucumber with cream cheese. Usually if I’m ordering a sushi combo I expect most all of them to contain some sort of fish or seafood. Even if it’s a just a simple California roll with imitation crab. I don’t mind a few veggie rolls but if it’s almost half of the combination it doesn’t really sit right with me.
