Avoid — soulless tourist scam with outrageous prices. Easily one of the worst café experiences in Lisbon. €11.50 for toast and eggs—an absurd price for food that’s completely mediocre. The place was dead silent, no music, no vibe, no other customers—just awkward emptiness. I only went here because the other breakfast cafes were swarmed with tourists, this one was empty. Now I know why.
To top it off, they only accept cash. No card payments in a tourist zone? That’s not just inconvenient, it screams tax evasion. Staff didn’t speak a word of Portuguese, further confirming this is a tone-deaf tourist trap with zero authenticity.
They’re not here to be part of Lisbon’s culture—they’re here to exploit it. They treat guests like disposable walk-ins: overcharge, underdeliver, and count on you never returning.
