What an outstanding place for what I was told is very traditional and local favorite restaurant. It was recommended we go here from our uber driver that was super passionate about this being one of his favorite places. The food was super delicious and felt like the plutonic ideal of what freshly home cooked comfort food might be in Porto. I had the pan fried squid (which I could have had endless bites of) and the sea bass, shrimp, clam, and rice stew dish. The stew was so flavorful and the portion very large, enough to split with 2 people. It might be “off the beaten path” for tourists but I have a feeling this local favorite restaurant doesn’t mind keeping it that way.
