Bom gosto 2 — Restaurant in Porto

The pastries and cakes were looking good🤤 but unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience 😕 A gentleman told us to sat down ,and immediately came to serve us..and for now all ok; but when I went to pay ,an other "gentleman" told me if I had a number on the table ,And I told him that I didn't have anything on the table that no one told us about a number on the table. With a very rough tone ,he let me know (because he didn't speak very well English) that I have to search my number on the table for the payment.and told me twice with same tone...and then came an other guy to search that number...in a few words no one told us that we have a number on the table that you have to go with and pay ,and that number was under the tissues. We paid for two cappuccino's and two cakes 6.60 euro,very expensive ....there are others that you pay less...I'm still speechless and don't understand why we were treated in that way.. I recommend all to avoid...

The pastries and cakes were looking good but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get some😕 Instead I had a very unpleasant experience. I sat down outside with my buddy and then I went in to order breakfast. I stood in line and when it was my turn to order, I was told in a very rough tone: "Please, sit down!". When I wanted to ask if someone was coming to our table, the gentleman immediately interrupted me and repeated the same words out loud. I sat down and we waited 10 minutes outside. After nobody showed up to take our order, we sat down and were deliberately ignored by all the waiters. After another 10 minutes, two visitors came and sat down in the same place outside where we were sitting. Not even a minute passed and a waiter took the order. I'm still speechless and don't understand why we were ignored... I recommend all tourists to avoid...

Not a pleasant experience for breakfast. Waiter said he understood English. Ordered an espresso, delivered a cappuccino so didn’t take it, I reiterated espresso but it never came. Ordered fried eggs on toast, the toast came with melted cheese (which we had never seen before so didn’t ask for no cheese up front) we asked for toast without cheese and gave back with toast with cheese, toast never came. By now we gave up. Paid and left. We weren’t charged for the espresso cum cappuccino to be fair. I would hope this experience was mainly a miscommunication issue but we certainly won’t...
