Have nice memories in this place, when it was O MARMORISTA, especially for the good vibe and unique atmosphere. So I decided to return (now it is called Calico Porto). Once arrived, we were welcomed with smile and warmth. The first feeling is that customers is at the center in this restaurant. With some surprise, we learned that many dishes have an indian influence and some are properly indian! We had fish chevice for starters. It was very tasty and with a sweet and sour sauce. I had the caril de alcatra..meat was not tender at all, did not seem fresh…way to much sauce…not enough flavor. My friend had the codfish dish, also not very good, fish was too salty and too dry. My husband was looking for a highly rated place that was open very late. We were not able to arrive before 10:30 pm and came tired with no expectations. The menu is small but all sounded amazing to us. It’s a new spot in a slightly out of the way location - but it’s worth it. The place has a really cool vibe, it’s not packed in with people which is refreshing for a city, the food is very inventive and fresh. We loved it! Please give it a shot and go over...
