I guess this is as genuine as tascas get in Porto. I chanced upon this as it was near my accommodation, and it soon became my go-to spot for lunch. Very affordable prices for very genuine tasting Portuguese cuisine. Daily menu rotates, if memory serves me right. I think it’s run by a couple. The very well-mannered gentleman always serves me, probably because he speaks English more fluently out of the two (I do try to learn Portuguese though haha) I definitely recommend it.

Cash and Euro Only! This is a super unique experience in a tiny family run restaurant. We had breakfast and Franceshina which is the worst food I ever tried. The breakfast was delicious, mushroom with spice and scrambled eggs. However the Franceshina, the cheese was not even melted, the meat was not cooked well and couldn’t even slice into pieces. The atmosphere is unique, looks like a small part of a church run by lovely people.

Cute authentic family owned gem! This place was relaxed and reasonably priced—we went for breakfast and got the goat cheese mixed berry crepe, the goat cream cheese toast (amazing bread) and the smoothie (yogurt, fruit & granola) bowl + coffees. The staff was very nice and you can just tell they are genuine people. We will definitely be back when visiting Porto!

Cais 51 is an exceptional restaurant in Lisbon. The food is outstanding, with high-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. And best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Overall, I highly recommend Cais 51 to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Lisbon. The exceptional food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices make this restaurant a must-visit. Whether you're a local or a tourist, make sure to add Cais 51 to your list of places to...

This place is absolutely a MUST in Porto. I had one of the best breakfast of my entire life, we were staying near by but I don’t know why we decide to try this place as last. Food is very genuine like when you go to your grandmother’s house when you are young. You can see everything is cooked with love. I recommend trying the pancakes, omelette and some soft bread melted with butter. The fresh orange juice has a different taste, a bit foamy very very good. If you are in Porto, and want to eat genuine food this is the place for you. Nice staff, cheap price and great...
