The most important thing is that I have bought a Frenchina and I feel that their chef does not know how to cook. He does not seem to be a professional chef. The person who cooks does not seem to be able to do any work.
I feel bad for writing a bad review but the service was horrible. I really didn’t want to write a bad review, but after the experience I had, I feel like it’s justified. I went to this vegan ice cream shop with my friend, and from the moment we walked in, the staff treated us like we were a burden. They were extremely rude and condescending, making us feel completely unwelcome. I tried asking about the different options they had, but the looks I got from them were like I was dumb for even asking.
It was so uncomfortable, and honestly, I’ve never been treated so poorly before. They clearly had no interest in being helpful or polite, and I felt judged the entire time. By the end, they even gave me a fake smile and sarcastically told me to "have a nice day" after treating us like we didn’t matter at all.
I had the vanilla ice cream bar, which was a disaster on its own—flavorless, icy like it had melted and been refrozen, and the chocolate coating tasted like it was made from the cheapest ingredients. I even gave their vanilla soft serve a try, and honestly, it tasted stale. But at that point, I couldn’t even focus on how bad the ice cream was because the horrible service had already ruined the experience.
I get that writing a bad review can affect a business, and I usually try to avoid it, but this experience was just too awful to ignore. Has anyone else felt guilty for leaving a bad review, even though the service was...

Open earlier than the places along the water (which were all still closed at 9:45am!). I Climbed and climbed into the upper labyrinth of windy passageways above the waterfront - and it was TOTALLY worth it.
Charming little place with soft lighting and soft jazz. Would make a great “romantic breakfast spot” if that’s a thing. 🥰
Comprehensive and creative breakfast menu both in Portuguese and English.
Waitstaff were also charming, patient and smiling - and expressed zero annoyance at this stupid American who can barely speak Spanish much less Portuguese. (Although I would have forgiven them if they had.) Has the friendly vibe that makes it feel like its family-run.
I ordered salmon Benedict (without hollandaise bc I don’t like it.) It came with lightly toasted wheat toast, spread with a thin layer of avocado. Eggs were perfectly poached and the presentation was careful and lovely. They had Tabasco and a Piri Piri hot sauce (which is my fave).
Note If you need wifi: there is an interesting pay-per-time thing - which is not via the restaurant itself but looks like the city or neighborhood. It was 3EU for an hour, 1EU for 1/2 hour. there were also full-day and longer options. I just used my...
