We went for dinner but we really wanted some “petiscos” and the waiter was super accommodating of our will 🥰 We had some delicious “sardines steaks”, cod fish pastel and delicious smoked ham 🥰

The beer was the coldest I ever drank super perfect “a estalar”.

Abbiamo letto le recensioni positive e siamo restate colpite soprattutto dal fatto che il posto fosse frequentato da gente del luogo e che la cucina fosse familiare. Abbiamo ordinato il baccalà, ricetta della casa, consistente in baccalà fritto con patate e cipolle. Il piatto era ben presentato, purtroppo il baccalà era eccessivamente salato, come se non fosse stato sufficientemente a lungo a bagno, e quindi anche duro. Dopo aver pagato, abbiamo segnalato la cosa, chiedendo se fosse abitudine del luogo cucinarlo così salato e duro. Ci è stato risposto che salato non è normale, ma che il nostro giudizio non fosse corretto. Successivamente, la cameriera, invece di scusarsi per l'inconveniente e approfittando del fatto che noi non parlavamo il portoghese, ha interloquito, risentita per il nostro appunto, con un'altra cliente seduta accanto a noi, con parole e gesti alterati, verso il nostro tavolo.
