After coming here pretty much everyday for a couple months now, I can say it is an amazing space with a lot of reasons to visit.
The staff is super friendly, helpful and hard working
Overall very relaxed, welcoming and comfortable environment/vibe. Created by the place itself, the staff, the music/events occasionally happening and even the people who go there
The space itself is very pleasant and diverse, with a lot of different spaces for different purposes
-a inside and outside space mostly dedicated for meals
-another outside space for coffee/drinking/smoking/ hanging out overall
-another inside space space with a few tables but is there mostly for events, such as music/clubbing nights/etc
-a room with seats mostly for concerts or other inside events such as podcasts and more. Also has a dedicated bar
-an art gallery room (both of these can be paid or free entrance, but even the paid entrance events have very accessible prices)
The drinks and food are really good and stand out from the average quality of other places. Not just based on my experience but also according to other people
the music and events are very diverse and very good/interesting. The effort that goes into keeping the place active and supporting local activity and/or artists is definitely noticeable and something to commend. Not many spaces have such dedication to supporting art and creating such pleasant experiences and environments around it
I really can't praise this place enough. Even coming here alone a lot, which should already be telling of how much I enjoy the space, I always felt comfortable and welcome, and often end up having very nice people/tourists talking to me and even praising the space.
Absolutely recommend anyone to visit, wether you are looking for a place to eat, hang out, see some art, drink, experience clubbing nights and/or meet some nice people
And definitely a huge thank you to everyone there for always being welcoming and friendly, and not telling me to go draw for hours somewhere else ahah.
I'll leave a picture of one of the outside spaces and a view from one of the...
Read moreAfter a long day exploring Porto, we were heading back towards our Apartment and simply took a random turn and saw the sign for this Restaurant. We climbed the four floors and chose to sit indoors rather than on the terrace areas as it was a bit breezy. We loved the interior and the way that plants had been used to create spaces between the tables. The service was great and the choice of food good, with some cleverly named Pizzas. Another bonus was that, due to being four floors up, we got to watch the Sunset over Porto. We sat on after dinner to sample their excellent choice of wines. The waiting staff were very well versed in the food and wines and added to the overall experience. We loved it here we came back another twice, booking a window table for our last night. (We were actually leaving on the Monday, but this restaurant closes on Sundays and, sadly, the place we ate on Sunday was nowhere near as good). Trust us, it`s well worth the climb up 4 steep...
Read moreA great casual environment. The brunch menu was tasty and comes with a wide range of food selection.
There was a misleading table setting where all tables had the “reserved” sign placed on each table and was replaced as soon as the guests have left. The mixed salad only had lettuce, the rockets and basil were missing.
No interval was given and we were rushed to be served all 9 side dishes even when we were clearly still drinking our soups and eating the breads, cheese, yogurt and fruit salad on a tiny table.
As soon as the dishes were served then was really difficult to get the attention of the staff. We weren’t offered the included dessert until we ask, neither were we asked if we want to have coffees.
It’s worth visiting to try...
