Should’ve read the reviews beforehand – a big mistake!
The only good thing about this place is the view. We ordered salads, and the waiter pointed to a picture on the menu (photo no. 2) to show what we would be getting. What actually arrived was photo no. 1.
When I told him that this wasn’t the same as shown on the menu, the waiter said that the photo was “just an example, just a picture.” Our salads were missing eggs, olives, and beans – basically everything except some lettuce and a bit of carrot.
When I asked that shouldn't there be eggs and olives and all that in the mixed nicosia salad and food still match the ingredients in the photo, he had no answer and just walked away. We quickly finished our drinks and...
Read moreThis is not really a restaurant — it’s more of a bar, and its only real asset is the fantastic location with a beautiful view of the river. That’s where the positives end.
The food — from starters and fish to vegetables, even the bread and olives — is the cheapest, lowest-quality supermarket-grade frozen stuff, prepared in the worst possible way. Honestly, it shouldn’t be served at all.
My overall rating is an average between two extremes: +3 for the smiling waiter, who had absolutely no idea how to be a waiter but was clearly trying his best — I respect the effort. -3 for the so-called food, which resembled animal feed more than a meal.

Read moreWe were first struck by the beautiful view, overlooking the porto canal. We were greeted with amazing service, accommodating our lack of speaking the language. The homemade lemonade and tea were HEAVENLY and I doubt I will ever enjoy lemonade as much as I have today. The food was just as stupendous, as I am writing this review before I have had desert. Four dishes satisfied the hunger of our party of seven, and we all were in awe the entire time. No notes, this experience was perfect.
