One of the better Korean food in Porto area. The service was great. The manager, David, was very friendly. The space itself has good ambience. 1. Kimchi was great. Well seasoned and fermented. I love the spice level. I hope they will have more variation in the future. 2. Seafood Pajeon. The flavor was great. But I wish it was cut in smaller pieces 3. Bulgogi has great flavor, but some of the meat pieces were a bit tough 4. Spicy pork udon has great flavor overall. I love the place. I will come back and try more food. ❤️ Edit: I came back for a couple more times within two weeks and tried a few more things: - kimchi wasn’t as well fermented and seasoned as the first time I tried it - kimchi fried rice was too buttery, and the flavor of kimchi was not there - Sundubu jjigae was very good. - tteokboki was good, I do wish they mix the cabbage together instead of just adding them on top. - the server didn’t have enough knowledge of the menu. We made reservation through thefork, but she didn’t take the 30% off. Unfortunately we didn’t realize that and didn’t get the receipt. I also wish they have more wine selection

Perfectly midrange European-Korean food. Based on what I have eaten around Europe, it is hard to adjust many Asian flavours to what Europeans like and expect, so it is a balancing act. Usually it means making Asian food way less spicy/savoury and way sweeter/more salty. It is also much harder to source fresh, quality Asian ingredients here. Some of the dishes here suffer from that as well, but some of them aren't bad... especially if you are used to Westernized "Asian" food. If that is what you like, this place should be just fine. If you want very authentic, you likely will not be impressed. Atmosphere was okay, but a bit bland so not like other proper "pocha" restaurants I have been to which have so much more energy and buzz. Granted it was late afternoon and maybe it is better at night. Staff was super friendly. Some dishes took quite a while to come to the table while others came very quickly. Fried chicken was quite good, and jap chae was okay but small portion. The kimchi fried rice (bokkembap) was not great, but I think it was the kimchi isn't great.

It actually pains me to say we didn't have a good experience in this restaurant. We had a reservation at 19:30 for dinner, got seated pretty quickly as there were also not many people on a Tuesday evening. They took our order pretty fast but then we waited....for 50 minutes! They must have lost our order or something because we realized the guests that came after us got their food before us. We asked a server after 40 minutes of waiting and they apologized and said it was on its way. We ordered the Original Crispy Fried Chicken with sweet and chilli sauce, japchae and tteokbokki. Japchae was tasty but the chicken wasn't too flavorful. The rice cakes in the tteokbokki weren't as chewy as we expected and there was only 2 pieces of fish cakes in the dish. Unfortunately it also lacked in seasoning. As we had made a reservation through theFork we got a 30% discount on food in our bill. Over all experience not great, service can definitely improve and food needs more flavor.

6 stars for the amazing service by María and Alexandra! They did an incredible job taking care of us tonight despite having to work an understaffed restaurant. They were nice, professional, kind, and quick to help us with a bunch of questions about the menu and the dishes. We really appreciate their hard work to make us feel well taken care of.

The food? Tasty, but the menu needs work. There are some inaccurate markings for vegetarian options. Note to the ownership: oysters and oyster sauce are NOT vegetarian. Vegetarian means no fish or shellfish or any kind, including sauces. There is one vegan option on the menu, however multiple of the vegetarian-marked dishes are potentially not vegetarian. If this affects you, ask questions.

We enjoyed the sweet/spicy tofu a lot. It’s the only real vegan option. My omnivore friend and I tried the spicy pork and KFC and both were good. The hae mul pae jun (seafood pancake) was just okay. I’m excited to come back and try the sundubu and tteokbokgi.

I LOVE Korean food and as a local resident am so excited to have some decent Korean options in Porto. I hope management can fix the menu markings to be accurate and hopefully hire another person or two. Both times I’ve eaten here it has been...

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. A few months ago, I had visited and the food was great. There was good communication, with staff who spoke Korean, Portuguese, or at least clear English.

But on my most recent visit, none of the staff could speak Korean, Portuguese, or proper English. We spoke with several employees, and communication was a serious issue. I have food allergies and asked to speak with someone responsible or from the kitchen to make sure I could eat safely. That wasn’t possible. After a lot of confusion, one staff member vaguely said the food was safe, but I couldn’t confirm anything directly with the kitchen or a manager.

The food itself was a big disappointment — very greasy, with a completely different and unpleasant taste compared to my last visit. It felt like a different restaurant. I’m not sure if the ownership changed or if there are no longer Korean cooks, but the food has definitely lost its authenticity.

We gave our feedback, but once again, it didn’t seem to be understood. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend it to anyone looking for real...
