Read moreTucked away in Porto, Do Norte by Hungry Biker offers a warm, inviting atmosphere paired with a menu that balances comforting classics with creative twists. While a few minor refinements could elevate the experience further, the quality ingredients and attention to detail make it a worthwhile stop. It was SO close to being a five star, just barely. I wish i could put 4.8 as a rating because that’s truly what it is
The Food: Well-Executed with Room for Small Improvements • Smoked Salmon & Avocado Toast with Cream Cheese – A well-composed dish with fresh, high-quality ingredients. However, a slightly crispier toast would have added a more satisfying texture. • Pastrami Waffle – A creative take on a brunch favorite, where the pastrami was well-seasoned and tender. The cabbage side, unfortunately, was over-salted, which detracted from an otherwise well-balanced plate.
Drinks: Carefully Crafted & Well-Paired • Mimosa & Porto Tónico – Both drinks were well-executed, refreshing, and balanced, complementing the food without overpowering it. • Coffee – A highlight of the meal. Roasted in-house, it showcased depth of flavor and quality sourcing, setting a high standard for coffee in Porto’s brunch scene.
Service & Ambiance: A Relaxed and Well-Maintained Space • Service was attentive and efficient, adding to the relaxed yet professional feel of the restaurant. • Bathrooms were clean, an often-overlooked yet crucial detail in an elevated dining experience.
Final Verdict
Do Norte by Hungry Biker is a solid choice for brunch in Porto, offering fresh ingredients, thoughtful plating, and a cozy atmosphere. With slight refinements—like ensuring balanced seasoning and perfecting textures—it has the potential to compete with some of Porto’s best modern...

The cozy atmosphere let you feel comfortable and relaxed. HOW TO FIND: Try to find the street “Rua do Almada” with navigation system and then look manually (without navigation) for the building/house number 57!!! My wife and I, we had very delicious breakfast with huge portions. I had Cheese Pancakes with Spinach and to drink Ginger Latte. My wife had Home-Made Salty Waffles and to drink Black Tea with Oranges and Cloves. As a dessert we shared Honey Cake (Orig. Russian recipe). The food was amazing. The service staff is very friendly and the Host/Cashier lady was very attentive and courteous. We enjoyed our breakfast and the conversation with the cashier lady (speaking Russian). We will definitely visit this amazing restaurant again before we will leave. We highly recommend this place and we would like to thank our waiter and the cashier lady once again.
