Legendary Cafe — Restaurant in Sintra

What a wonderful little establishment! In gorgeous but touristy Sintra, this little bar is a wonderful haven of excellent food, a handsome and friendly, moustached barman (Daniel). The place is quirky but neat & clean. The food is delicious. The place is just around the corner from the train station, so I recommend your day of exploring Sintra, start and end there. A special recommendation: the prices are exceptionally reasonable. It has been many, many years since I last saw a cup of coffee for only € 1,20, or a large stout beer for € 2,80. This cafe needs to become famous.

I was very disappointed with the service. The waitress was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were forced to leave our seats on the terrace and were not allowed to enjoy our beer and sandwich peacefully. Instead of treating us with basic courtesy, she spoke to us disrespectfully and made us feel unwelcome.
