Queijadas da Sapa — Restaurant in Sintra

Terrible customer service. We decided to go to this place because of its central location and good reviews, but we still had a bad experience. Even though we went during a less busy time, the customer service was terrible. The sign outside didn't mention that most of the products were out of stock. We were informed at the counter, and when we asked about the available products, the lady's reaction was rude, giving the impression that they cared more about sales than customer service. We couldn't even choose the queijadas, and she gave us the ones with the most burnt tops. Hopefully their customer service...

Delicious pastry whilst walking to the main part of the town. My Portuguese girlfriend said we were in for a surprise enroute and she didn't disappoint. We hadn't long got off the train from Lisbon and this patisserie was a welcome stop on our walk. It offers a range of different cakes and drinks and is a cosie little place which also offers places to sit and enjoy their produce. Delightful cafe. Opened 40-45 minutes later than expected today based on info I saw online. Travesseiro and queijadas were delicious. The former is the fluffiest pillow with a little almond filling inside. The latter is cheese and cinnamon filling with a crisp outer shell. Husband also had a yellow pastry that almost looks like a rolled up pastry with custard, which was good but overshadowed by the other two.
