I'm never happy when I'm told I can't sit somewhere just because I'm a party of 1, and it's first come first serve seat yourself seating. I needed a large table to spread out my paperwork and computer to do work while enjoying lunch. So I sat down at the open table for 4 (which still wasn't all that big) by the window instead of the tiny table for 2 which was not even as wide as my shoulders. The owner then called me out from across the room and said I couldn't sit there as a party of 1. Ha! Way to go bro. Terrible service gets you a terrible review. So instead I retreated to a smaller interior table, ordered just a coffee, no lunch, left hungry, and only completed a coffee's worth of work. When I was ready to pay, I had my 2 Euro coin in hand, and there was a super long line of people waiting to pay by credit card. So when the owner made eye contact with me, I gestured to him that I wanted to leave it on the counter for him and bounce. He looked right at me, then refused to acknowledge the silent language I was speaking, even though he knew damn well what I was requesting. This type of pompous attitude ain't gonna fly, and I am flying far away from this establishment never to return as a result. You reap what you sew.
