Pizza Hut Sintra (Vila) — Restaurant in Sintra

Where do I even start! We came in and sat down without anyone acknowledging us (we waited a bit to be seated and when nothing happened we just sat down). It wasn't a big deal, but after another 10 minutes of waiting at our table to be served I was already getting annoyed. There was a few people at the counter, asking the staff for sauce etc so we thought that maybe we had to order at the counter? Weird, but not impossible, I decided, and went to ask. I was met with quite rude 'No! I'll come to the table'. OK, fine. I'm a veggie so my options were already limited (not complaining about that, I knew it would happen) and out of 3 veggie pizzas I decided on one..asked for it without corn and with added mushrooms. The waiter responded with 'You can only take off things, not add'. I was annoyed at that point so didn't argue and just asked for my pizza without corn. After ordering the wait wasn't particularly long, but my pizza obviously came with corn on it. I decided not to be a crybaby about it, it's not like I'm allergic to it, but it still added to my overall annoyance. The pan pizza was very, very greasy, more than usual I belive, and generally underwhelming. I didn't expect much, it's Pizza Hut after all, but still was disappointed. The 1 star rating earned the toilets, though. Repelling. Disgusting. Smelling of urine. Wet, almost black floor. Some kid kicking on my door didn't make it any better, but can't blame them for that....

My wife and I visited this pizzeria on November 20th. We decided to have something to eat after visiting the castles. There were only 4 people in the hall. A young, athletic man approached us to take our order. We ordered 1 pizza. We had to wait 15 minutes. All this time this young man walked in front of us and showed off his big muscles. He simply didn't have a job. After 15 minutes, a man of 40-50 years old brought us 2 (two) pizzas. We said that we didn’t need 2 pizzas, we ordered 1 pizza to eat here. This man, who is obviously the boss, said that his young employee placed an order for 2 pizzas and we are obliged to pay. We asked to call this young worker, but he unexpectedly went on break. The boss demanded to pay money for 2 pizzas or he would call the police. We don't know Portuguese and don't speak English well. Therefore, we decided not to argue with these scammers and pay. We had to take this pizza to Lisbon. This is how we were deceived by scammers. It's a pity. We ate this pizza in Funchal, Madeira. This was great pizza and great service. Pizza in Sintra is a scam. Don't come here. Very bad service. This young athlete needs to be fired. He is a disgrace to this...

The only reason I give 1 star to this place is that there's no option to give 0. We came here before the train (we had around 20 minutes to get the order and then to get back to the station). In 10 minutes we had not received even a salad and I decided to ask a staff member to pack the order to go and pay in advance so that we wouldn't miss the train. The order of chicken nuggets and a salad was not ready in 20 minutes and the staff member still let me pay. I believe that when the customer says that he/she is in a rush, you should ask about the time left before accepting the payment. Unacceptable. The gem of this visit was the other staff member.
