Beautiful, shame about loud music.

When we saw the cafe in the distance, it looked really great. When we got there, the location exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful with a full view of the weir.

Unfortunately the loud rave music blaring from the speakers vied with the noise of the waterfall and it was pretty deafening. Even more incongruous was the outdoor tv with football showing.

The coffee was nice and reasonably priced for such a place. There was no table service, which seemed strange considering the number of staff inside.

Instead of a leisurely coffee and then deciding to stay for lunch, we moved on quickly, as did the other patrons. What a shame.

Update: we came again and I realized I had been too harsh. If you sit at the front you cannot hear the music, just the sound of rushing water and the happy chat of the neighbors. A much more pleasant time. I...

The prices are quite high but mostly worth it, the view it's probablyone of its best characteristics, the touch of sunlight and the outstanding balance between the river and the beautiful blue sky makes the whole experience something to remember. Overall, besides the overpriced food (mostly the ice creams, which in my opinion it's still quite worth it) the café is a great spot for those who are looking for a nice place to hang out under the gorgeous skyline and the extraordinary...

Well-placed cafe overlooking the river and across to the old town. You need to order your food or drink at the counter and it is brought to you, but we ordered a snack and dessert and the dessert came first! Otherwise fine, the salads were very colourful.
